An existing city block containing 6 abandoned retail stores and paved parking area. The facilities were constructed in the mid-1950's and utilized most recently as office and production space. The structures contain full basements with one structure containing usable mezzanine space.
Eight story, 67-unit former hotel that was constructed in 1926. The historic renovation/restoration of former hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The top six floors were converted into 67 apartment units for low-income elderly housing. The bottom two floors are commercial space for restaurants, meeting rooms, gift shops and entrance.
This project is a new addition and major renovation of the existing former Indian Mound Elementary School which, when it re-opened became known as Benjamin Harrison Elementary School.
The existing building has had all systems replaced (Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical). The new addition contains a Media Center and six (6) new classrooms.
The site was expanded for parking, student drop-off and play areas.
